Men are afraid women will laugh at them or won’t have sex with them, women are afraid men will kill them. Rich people are upset that everyone else is calling them “greedy” instead of “job creators”, everyone else is upset that they can’t afford health care. White people are afraid of being called racist by people of color, people of color are afraid of being killed by white people (especially white people in positions of authority, like police). Straight people are afraid of having their “marriages ruined” by other people getting married, queer people are afraid of being beaten to death. Cis people are afraid of having to share a bathroom with someone different than they are, trans people are afraid of being murdered.

This is really just a perfect X, Y statement to sum up the most basic tenet of privilege: if you are privileged, the majority of the time you don’t fear for your basic survival.

Don’t y’all love when people say this and then get mad when it actually happens and cry reverse racism. Love it.
It strikes me that telling someone to ‘go make their own cartoons’ is kind of like going to a restaurant and being served terrible food, and having the chef go ‘if you don’t like it, open your own restaurant’. Fuck you, chef, it’s your job to make me delicious food.

Apparently it makes you a racist to say you aren’t attracted to ‘insert race here’ because it’s basically claiming that all people of a certain race looks the same. 

And personally to some extent I agree, it’s generalising and there will always be exceptions and not all races look the same etc

But people are attracted to blondes and not brunettes, some like skinny girls, other than fat but these are always assumed generalisations, I don’t think anyone who likes blondes actually means ‘I like blondes and I HATE ALL OTHER HAIR COLOURS AND WOULD NEVER DATE THEM NO’. And I don’t think anyone assumes that either. The person is just claiming they like one hair colour more than another.

If I said I prefer pale skin, or Caucasian girls or whatever that doesn’t then in turn mean that I’d never touch a black/Asian/Indian/Vulcan girl with a barge pole. And if I said I wasn’t sexually attracted to dark skin, it doesn’t make me a racist, it just means I’m not sexually attracted to dark skin. I don’t hate people of a certain race because I’m not sexually attracted to that certain race. I mean that is just fucking stupid. I can’t help what I am and aren’t attracted too and it doesn’t make me a racist because of it. I’m sure there are people out there who don’t date another race because of racism, look at Japan, land of Xenophobia. But I’m pretty sure if a guy/girl prefers ‘x race here’ they aren’t not dating ‘y race here’ out of racism. Fuck that is so retarded.

Fuck the more I tried to write a rational answer the more I realised the whole ‘not being attracted to a certain race makes you racist’ thing is just so fucking stupid it’s practically impossible to write a rational response.

Ok but you’ve got to admit that the reason you are primarily attracted to people with white skin is due to some bonkers internalized racism.
